Labyrinth

A workshop that presents explanation and history of the Labyrinth; types, benefits, and functions of use. Labyrinths are being seen in a variety of settings to promote health and wellness: counseling centers, hospitals, hospice, schools, prisons, churches, retreat centers, and colleges. Find out why they are being so widely used; their application for you personally, and in your practice. Explores and discusses concept of the Labyrinth for meditation, stress relief, centering, coping, and guidance. The Labyrinth as a ‘metaphor for life’s journey’ can be applied even more-so during difficult and challenging times, as part of a therapeutic approach to reduce anxiety and strengthen intention. Participants will experience several Labyrinth options; hand-held metal Labyrinth, paper copies, ceramic lap labyrinths, and the indoor floor model.
